Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of all training courses, digital content, and related services provided by 4 TEFL (“we”, “us”, “our”). By enrolling in a course, purchasing a product, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. Definitions

  • “Course” means any online or blended training programme offered by 4 TEFL.
  • “Student” means any individual who enrols in a Course.
  • “Digital Content” means any online course material, downloads, or other resources.
  • “Services” means training, certification, and related support provided by us.

2. Acceptance of Terms

  • By purchasing a Course, creating an account, or otherwise using our Services, you confirm that you:
  • – are at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18),
  • – have provided accurate information during registration,
  • – accept these Terms as legally binding.

3. Services and Access

  • Access to digital course content is granted upon successful payment.
  • Courses are delivered online unless otherwise stated.
  • Course durations, prices, and available add-ons (including printed certificates) are published on our Prices page.

4. Accounts and Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
  • Accounts may not be shared with third parties.
  • Any misuse of your account may result in suspension or termination of access without refund.

5. Payments, Prices, and Promotions

  • All fees must be paid in full before access is granted.
  • Prices are correct at the time of purchase but may be changed at any time for future sales.
  • Discounts, coupons, and promotions are subject to their own conditions and may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Refund Policy

  • You may cancel your enrolment and request a refund within 14 calendar days of purchase, provided you have not yet begun your course. By accessing the course materials or submitting the learner agreement, you are deemed to have started your course and acknowledge that your right to cancel and receive a refund is forfeited.
  • Once the 14-day cooling-off period has expired, or once the course has been accessed, no refunds or cancellations are permitted. This policy complies with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

7. Rescheduling and Transfers

  • Students may request to transfer or reschedule a course before it has started.
  • All such changes must be requested in writing at least 14 days before the scheduled start date.
  • An administrative fee may apply, similar to competitor practice.
  • Requests made less than 14 days before the course start may be declined.
  • Transfers are not permitted once the course has begun.

8. Non-Attendance and Lateness

  • Failure to attend a scheduled session (online or live) without prior notice is considered a no-show and no refund or rescheduling will be granted.
  • If you arrive late and miss substantial content, the tutor may refuse entry and the session will be forfeited.
  • Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

9. Course Completion and Certificates

  • To receive a certificate, you must complete all required modules and assessments.
  • Certificates in PDF format are issued free of charge after successful completion.
  • Printed certificates are available as a paid add-on, as listed on our Prices page.
  • Course access is limited to the duration published on the course description. Extensions may be purchased if available.

10. Academic Honesty and Student Conduct

  • All work submitted must be your own. Plagiarism, cheating, or dishonesty will result in disqualification without refund.
  • You must treat staff and other students with respect. Abusive, threatening, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or expulsion without refund.

11. Intellectual Property

  • All course content, materials, and resources remain the intellectual property of 4 TEFL.
  • Students are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials for personal educational purposes only.
  • Copying, sharing, reselling, or distributing course content without written permission is strictly prohibited.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant Course.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, opportunity, or time.
  • We do not accept responsibility for travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred in relation to your course.

13. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for failure to deliver services caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, illness, internet outages, pandemics, or government restrictions. In such cases, we may offer alternative arrangements at our discretion.

14. Complaints and Appeals

  • We are committed to high standards of training and support.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes arising from or connected with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Amendments

  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
  • Continued use of our Services after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
